These Terms govern your use of the WellBite app and website, operated by [legal name / sole proprietor Ilsur Gabdulkhakov] (“we”, “us”). By using WellBite you agree to them.
The service
WellBite is a nutrition tracking app: it estimates the nutritional content of meals (including from photos you take), tracks your intake against goals you set, and suggests foods and combinations to help you reach a daily protein target. Features may change as the app evolves.
Accounts
WellBite creates an anonymous account automatically — no signup is required. You are responsible for your device; note that until optional account linking ships, your history is tied to that device (reinstalls restore from backup, but a brand-new device cannot access history created anonymously on another one).
Subscriptions & trials
- WellBite offers an auto-renewing subscription with a free trial ([3] days).
- The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Billing is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. Manage or cancel in your store account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Prices may change; changes apply to future billing periods after notice through the store.
- Refunds are handled by Apple/Google under their policies.
Not medical advice
WellBite provides nutrition estimates for informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietary, or health advice. AI-generated estimates can be wrong — verify anything that matters. Consult a qualified professional before making significant dietary changes, particularly if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, an eating-disorder history, or take medication (including GLP-1 medications). Do not rely on WellBite for medical decisions.
Your content
Photos you take and data you log remain yours. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service — e.g. transmitting a photo to our AI provider for analysis (photos are processed and discarded, see the Privacy Policy) and storing your logs for backup. We claim no other rights to your content.
Acceptable use
Don’t: circumvent subscription or usage limits; reverse-engineer, probe, or disrupt the service; use automated clients or modified builds; submit unlawful content; or resell access. AI analysis is rate-limited per user for abuse prevention; we may suspend access that violates these Terms.
Intellectual property
The app, site, design, and food dataset are our property or our licensors’ and are protected by law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on your devices.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy of nutrition estimates, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, health outcomes, or profits, arising from your use of WellBite. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the [12] months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
Termination
You can stop using WellBite and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature survive (IP, disclaimers, liability) survive termination.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [jurisdiction].
Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app or on the site with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
